St. Petersburg chooses the "Woman of the Year"
Every year in St. Petersburg, the "Woman of the Year" competition is held in order to increase the social status of women in modern society, attract public attention to their contribution to the socio-economic development of St. Petersburg, enhance women's participation in public life of the city, as well as the real provision of equal rights and opportunities for men and women in all spheres of life.
The participants of the competition can be women citizens of the Russian Federation who permanently reside and carry out professional (official) activities on the territory of St. Petersburg, recognized as winners of professional competitions, awarded state and (or) public awards and prizes, who achieved outstanding success in their professional activities in 2023-2024. Special attention will be paid to the implemented public projects of the nominees when reviewing the documents.
This year, the best St. Petersburg women will be selected in the nominations: "Medicine and medical activity", "Physical Culture and Sports", "Education and educational activities", "Social work", "Culture and Art", "Public activity", "Armed Forces and law enforcement", "Public Relations and Mass Media", "Science and Higher Education", "Grand Prix" in one of the presented nominations.

The portfolios of the participants of the "Woman of the Year" contest are accepted only in printed form at the address: St. Petersburg, Lomonosova str., 16, lit. A, room 15 by prior call to the Organizing Committee of the Competition by phone (812) 312-02-20. Reception hours: on weekdays (except Fridays) from 11:00 to 17:00.
The winners of the Woman of the Year contest will be announced on the eve of March 8 in a solemn ceremony.
